HEARTWOOD SAW has designed our new Model 2000 Resaw System around the proven technology of the Model 310 Band Sawmill.


The model 2000 Resaw system utilizes a 6" bandsaw blade and is developed to function in the harsh sawmill production environment. This system comes complete with cant infeed transfer deck, cant turner, conveyor style infeed chain with pressure arms to ensure consistent accuracy, transfer tables and powered roller conveyors to complete the carousel.

The operator works from a pedestal operator's platform where he has a view of entire operation. His control panel is designed to provide:

• easy, accurate adjustment of thickness;
• simple, fast turning of the cant for grade sawing;
• feed speed selection to allow maximim production in all sizes and types of cants;
• control of the destination of the sawn products (to the edger or trim saw or to the carousel returning it to the resaw).
